Insane Realism
A downloadable Minecraft texture pack
Now available for free!
What is Insane Realism?
Insane Realism is the spiritual successor to RealismExtreme. Insane Realism is a 1K resolution insanely realistic Minecraft texture pack designed to be as close to real life as possible. This page contains both the 1K version and the 128x version.
Features:
- 72 blocks textured
- Normal, Specular, and Height maps for each block
I recommend using Kappa as it provides the highest possible detail for this pack.
If you want to get the full pack, it is available on itch.io and Gumroad.

wow the pictures are clickbait af this only changes the grass
Which link did you click? It should change all the textures it claims to change. The only reason why the screenshots look the way they do it due to the shaders I was using (Kappa) and a very close-up view (using the zoom feature on Optifine). If certain textures aren’t appearing, it could be that not enough RAM is allocated to your Minecraft instance. Another possibility could be simply your CPU or GPU. I recommend having, at the very least, a GTX 1080 or equivalent, and an Intel i7 or equivalent. Also, please note that this pack is no longer being developed, and I strongly recommend that you check out the spiritual successor to this pack, UltraRealism here.

Insane Realism is currently completed. However, I am currently working on a port to Bedrock which will come out eventually. Stay tuned!
